PQA: Registration Process
- Create an online account
You can register for PQA online. To register you need a computer with internet access, a credit card and an email address. This email address will be used for all the further communication from the PQA Office.
- Enter all your details on the online registration form
You are required to feed in all the required particulars as asked on the registration form.
- Pay the fees
You can pay PQA fees online by credit card, i.e. by MasterCard, AMEX, Diners or Visa, including Visa and MasterCard debit cards and also by bank draft.
** Do write your name on the back of your payment.
- Receive your Registration confirmation mail
When you finish your online registration, a registration confirmation and checklist will be emailed to your nominated account. Register for PQA: Personal Qualities Assessment; go to registration page http://www.pqa.net.au/
PQA: Format
PQA is an instrument designed to assess a range of personal traits like thinking skills, attitudinal traits etc., necessary for the study and practice of medicine, dentistry and other health professions.
PQA: FormatThe test has four parts as follows:
Test 1: 'MAT'; Mental Agility Test, by D Munro & MR Bore.Test 1 has questions based on verbal, numerical and spatial problem-solving. It tests the intelligence, the promptness and quickness of the applicant.
- No. of questions: 45 questions
- Duration: 60 minutes.
Test 2: 'Mojac'; Interpersonal Values, Social Responsibility, MR BoreTest 2 has questions that test the decision-making abilities and assertiveness of the applicants. It brings forth the belief and opinions of the applicants.
- No. of questions: 49 questions.
- Duration: 60 minutes.
Test 3: 'NACE'; Interpersonal Traits, D MunroTest 3 has questions that test the behavioral pattern, attitude and thought process of the applicants.
- No. of questions: 100 statements.
- Duration: 60 minutes.
- Structure: True or false statements
Test 4:'PCI': Personal Characteristics Inventory, MR Bore, D Munro & DA Powis Test 4 asks applicants to rate themselves how honest they are about themselves and how truthful they are about their thoughts, feelings and attitudes.
- Duration: 20 minutes.
- No. of statements: 100
PQA-Test day
Essentials to carry:- Admission Letter: Letter of invitation and Test Centre Admission Card issued by the PQA Authorities. The Admission Card will have printed on it your personal details, date, time and venue of the test.
- Identification proof: A photo ID with name and the recent photo likeness, i.e., driving license or passport should be taken along as original document identification.
- Stationery: A 2B pencils and an eraser must be taken along.
